In a step that reflects the spirit of Gulf integration and the exchange of flavors between brothers, the Saudi brand “Hlayel”, specialized in shawarma, has arrived in the Kingdom of Bahrain with the opening of its first branch in Manama. The brand brings with it authentic Saudi recipes blended with local Bahraini touches, as part of an expansion plan targeting Gulf markets.
The Bahrain branch represents the first stop for “Hlayel” outside the Kingdom, as the brand aims to offer a dining experience that combines traditional Saudi taste with authentic Bahraini details, presented in a modern concept that preserves the essence of Gulf identity.
Hlayel’s philosophy is based on redefining the fast-food concept through exclusive recipes carefully tested before being served, alongside the use of fresh ingredients sourced from local suppliers. Sauces and pickles are prepared in-house to ensure consistent quality and flavor, with freshly baked bread produced daily without preservatives.
The Bahrain branch features a diverse menu that includes dishes with names inspired by the Gulf culture, such as “Meftah Al Lahm”, “Ghizlani”, and “Marboua”, in addition to various kebab options made from different types of meat, which have already started to gain remarkable popularity among local customers, according to branch management.
The branch is operated by a trained culinary team, while customer feedback is considered an essential part of product development and continuously enhancing the dining experience.
Looking ahead, “Hlayel” plans further expansion both within Bahrain and abroad, including additional branches and mobile units to participate in events and festivals. The brand also intends to launch a new visual identity and enhance the ordering experience through its own digital application.
The opening of the new branch comes within Hlayel’s strategy to strengthen its regional presence and present a food model that reflects Gulf culture in a modern style that combines authenticity and innovation.
